Using the Library

Why can't I just use Google?

Not all of the information available on Google is reliable. The Library's catalog and databases provide reliable resources that are available for you to use through the cost of your tuition. Once you feel comfortable using the library, you'll be able to search efficiently for information and create more specific searches than what you can use on search engines like Google.

What is interlibrary loan?

If Library Services doesn't own material you need, we will request it from another library for you. For more information, please visit the Interlibrary Loan page.

How can I talk to a person? Or a librarian?

Easy! Librarian contact information is available from this link. You can call at 413-748-3315 or text us at (413) 314-3678.

Online chat is also available during Library Services business hours.
