This collection contains the oral histories of Springfield College alumni, faculty, and administrators who were present on campus during or leading up to the Black student protests of 1969-1970. These oral histories contain first-hand accounts of campus civil rights activism and the reactions on and off campus. Materials include audio recordings, video recordings, interview transcripts, biographical sketches of the Black student activists, and additional documentation. Materials date from the Fall 2019 semester to the Fall 2021 semester.
