Academic Success Center (ASC)

The Academic Success Center provides a variety of free resources, services, and programs in order to help students being academically successful. It is located in the center of the third floor in LC300.

Within the space are ASC offices, the assistive testing rooms, and a paper shredder.

The Academic Success Center provides the following services

• Academic Success Coaching
• Class Presentations
• Disability and Accessibility Services
• MTEL Assistance Program
• Specialized Testing Rooms and Equipment
• Tutoring for a wide range of subjects

Paper Shredder

The ASC has a paper shredder within it met for confidential materials. The materials are picked up by Valley Green Shredding, a shredding service in Westfield, Massachusetts, in order to be disposed of.

ASC Open Tutoring Room (LC302)

The Academic Success Center has an Open Tutoring Room on the right side of the building by the side of the YMCA Hall of Fame. This is where most of the tutoring takes place. The room comes with two desktop computers as well as supplies, like a pencil sharpener, hole puncher, and more.

This space is met for students and are usually not booked for events outside of Reunion and Homecoming. For further details, please contact the ASC.

ASC Classroom (LC303)

The Academic Success Center Classroom is located opposite of where the Open Tutoring Room is, on the left side of the building. This is where presentations are usually given to students if a professor decides to schedule an ASC presentation for their classroom. The room functions as a tutoring and study space when there are no presentations are taking place.

This space is met for students and are usually not booked for events outside of Reunion and Homecoming. For further details, please contact the ASC.
