Using the internet as an OT
Much of the professional literature in Occupational Therapy is not freely accessible online, so you have to access the full text of articles through our library or request access through interlibrary loan.
That said, there are many great starting points for research that are not restricted from the general public, and you should begin to recognize what will be valid and useful to you.

Google Scholar is a free online database that will allow you to search for articles, books, and more. Often you can see when you have access to full text through the SC library. If you don't have full text access, you can use our Interlibrary Loan service to request full text from another library. It is easy, and free!
