Scholars in Action at Springfield College

21st Annual Undergraduate Scholars in Action Days

Information for Faculty

We encourage you to find ways to incorporate Scholars in Action into your course planning for the spring semester.

For faculty who are not familiar with this event:

  • Check out last year's event website, which contains lots of useful info.
  • Having your classes participate in Scholars in Action Days could be as simple as having your classes attend one or more of the Scholars in Action Days events or incorporating activities into your course that encourage students to present at Scholars in Action.
  • Scholars in Action is open to all undergraduate students.
  • Participation in Scholars in Action Days does not require the student to have conducted traditional research projects. Many of our past participants have incorporated creative projects, such as art work, poetry, portfolios, and multimedia presentations.
  • We are also always looking for more faculty evaluators. This is a great way to support the event!

In the meantime, if you have any questions about how your class could participate in this wonderful event, please feel free to contact Matt Ferrari (mferrari@springfield.edu).
